Benchmark: DMS
Description
This section contains recommendations for configuring DMS resources.
Usage
Install the mod:
mkdir dashboardscd dashboardspowerpipe mod initpowerpipe mod install github.com/turbot/steampipe-mod-aws-complianceStart the Powerpipe server:
steampipe service startpowerpipe serverOpen http://localhost:9033 in your browser and select DMS.
Run this benchmark in your terminal:
powerpipe benchmark run aws_compliance.benchmark.all_controls_dmsSnapshot and share results via Turbot Pipes:
powerpipe benchmark run aws_compliance.benchmark.all_controls_dms --shareControls
- Ensure that all the expired DMS certificates are removed
- DMS endpoints for MongoDB should have an authentication mechanism enabled
- DMS endpoints for Neptune databases should have IAM authorization enabled
- DMS endpoints for Redis OSS should have TLS enabled
- DMS endpoints should use SSL
- DMS replication instances should have automatic minor version upgrade enabled
- DMS replication instances should not be publicly accessible
- DMS replication tasks for the source database should have logging enabled
- DMS replication tasks for the target database should have logging enabled
