Overview
This section contains recommendations for configuring AWS DMS resources and options.
Usage
Install the mod:
mkdir dashboardscd dashboardspowerpipe mod initpowerpipe mod install github.com/turbot/steampipe-mod-aws-complianceStart the Powerpipe server:
steampipe service startpowerpipe serverOpen http://localhost:9033 in your browser and select DMS.
Run this benchmark in your terminal:
powerpipe benchmark run aws_compliance.benchmark.foundational_security_dmsSnapshot and share results via Turbot Pipes:
powerpipe benchmark run aws_compliance.benchmark.foundational_security_dms --shareControls
- 1 AWS Database Migration Service replication instances should not be public
- 6 DMS replication instances should have automatic minor version upgrade enabled
- 7 DMS replication tasks for the target database should have logging enabled
- 8 DMS replication tasks for the source database should have logging enabled
- 9 DMS endpoints should use SSL
- 10 DMS endpoints for Neptune databases should have IAM authorization enabled
- 11 DMS endpoints for MongoDB should have an authentication mechanism enabled
- 12 DMS endpoints for Redis OSS should have TLS enabled
