This section contains recommendations for configuring CosmosDB resources.
Usage
Install the mod:
mkdir dashboardscd dashboardspowerpipe mod initpowerpipe mod install github.com/turbot/steampipe-mod-azure-complianceStart the Powerpipe server:
steampipe service startpowerpipe serverOpen http://localhost:9033 in your browser and select Cosmos DB.
Run this benchmark in your terminal:
powerpipe benchmark run azure_compliance.benchmark.all_controls_cosmosdbSnapshot and share results via Turbot Pipes:

- Azure Cosmos DB accounts should use customer-managed keys to encrypt data at rest
- Cosmos DB accounts should disable key based metadata write access
- Cosmos DB account 'Access Control' should be configured to use Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- CosmosDB accounts should use private link
- Ensure That 'Firewalls & Networks' Is Limited to Use Selected Networks Instead of All Networks
- Azure Cosmos DB accounts should have firewall rules
- Cosmos DB should use a virtual network service endpoint
