Dashboard: GCP Compute Instance Inventory Report
This report answers the following questions:
- How many compute instances are there across my projects?
- When were the instances created?
- What is the operational status of each instance?
- What machine types are being used?
- Which instances have security features enabled (deletion protection, confidential computing, secure boot)?
- What network configurations are applied (IP forwarding, network tags)?
- What labels are applied to each instance?
- How are instances distributed across projects and locations?

Usage
Install the mod:
mkdir dashboardscd dashboardspowerpipe mod initpowerpipe mod install github.com/turbot/steampipe-mod-gcp-insightsStart the Powerpipe server:
steampipe service startpowerpipe serverOpen http://localhost:9033 in your browser and select GCP Compute Instance Inventory Report dashboard.
