Benchmark: EFS
Description
This section contains recommendations for configuring EFS resources.
Usage
Install the mod:
mkdir dashboardscd dashboardspowerpipe mod initpowerpipe mod install github.com/turbot/steampipe-mod-aws-compliance
Start the Powerpipe server:
steampipe service startpowerpipe server
Open http://localhost:9033 in your browser and select EFS.
Run this benchmark in your terminal:
powerpipe benchmark run aws_compliance.benchmark.all_controls_efs
Snapshot and share results via Turbot Pipes:
powerpipe benchmark run aws_compliance.benchmark.all_controls_efs --share
Controls
- EFS access points should enforce a root directory
- EFS access points should enforce a user identity
- EFS file system encryption at rest should be enabled
- EFS file systems should be encrypted with CMK
- EFS file systems should enforce SSL
- EFS file systems should be in a backup plan
- EFS file systems should be protected by backup plan
- EFS file systems should restrict public access
