Thrifty Route 53 Benchmark

Thrifty developers keep a careful eye on the actual usage of Route 53 service. This Route 53 benchmark currently checks unused hosted zones, unnecessary health checks and unhealthy resolver endpoints.

Usage

Install the mod:

mkdir dashboards
cd dashboards
powerpipe mod init
powerpipe mod install github.com/turbot/steampipe-mod-aws-thrifty

Start the Powerpipe server:

steampipe service start
powerpipe server

Open http://localhost:9033 in your browser and select Route 53 Checks dashboard.

You could also snapshot and share results via Turbot Pipes:

powerpipe login
powerpipe benchmark run aws_thrifty.benchmark.route53 --share
