This section contains recommendations for configuring Backup resources.
Usage
Install the mod:
mkdir dashboardscd dashboardspowerpipe mod initpowerpipe mod install github.com/turbot/steampipe-mod-aws-complianceStart the Powerpipe server:
steampipe service startpowerpipe serverOpen http://localhost:9033 in your browser and select Backup.
Run this benchmark in your terminal:
powerpipe benchmark run aws_compliance.benchmark.all_controls_backupSnapshot and share results via Turbot Pipes:
powerpipe benchmark run aws_compliance.benchmark.all_controls_backup --shareControls
- Backup plan min frequency and min retention check
- Backup plan should exist in a region
- Backup recovery points should be encrypted
- Backup recovery points manual deletion should be disabled
- Backup recovery points should not expire before retention period
- Backup report plan should exist in a region where backup plan is enabled
- Backup vaults should exist in a region
