Benchmark: Cache for Redis
Description
This benchmark provides a set of controls that detect Terraform Azure Cache for Redis resources deviating from security best practices.
Usage
Install the mod:
mkdir dashboardscd dashboardspowerpipe mod initpowerpipe mod install github.com/turbot/steampipe-mod-terraform-azure-complianceStart the Powerpipe server:
steampipe service startpowerpipe serverOpen http://localhost:9033 in your browser and select Cache for Redis.
Run this benchmark in your terminal:
powerpipe benchmark run terraform_azure_compliance.benchmark.redisSnapshot and share results via Turbot Pipes:
powerpipe benchmark run terraform_azure_compliance.benchmark.redis --shareControls
- Azure Cache for Redis should reside within a virtual network
- Only secure connections to your Azure Cache for Redis should be enabled
- Redis Caches 'Minimum TLS version' should be set to 'Version 1.2'
- Redis Caches should restrict public access
- Redis Caches standard replication should be enabled
