Detection: IAM Access Key Created
Overview
Detect when an IAM access key was created. Access keys provide programmatic access to AWS services and, if compromised, can enable unauthorized actions such as data exfiltration or resource modifications. Monitoring access key creation helps prevent unauthorized activity and ensures compliance with security best practices.
